Lane Cove | Mould Cleaning

As rain becomes a more prevalent part of Sydney’s lifestyle weather we wanted it or not, mould is becoming a more interesting issue to tackle for a lot of buildings. Mould is usually the result of leaky foundations, walls, roofs or water pipes, and the recent weather certainly wasn’t in our Lane Cove building’s favor, as a patch of mould has grown substantially over the past few months in one of the common areas.

The dangers of mould growing inside your building cannot be underestimated, it is like cancer for your building, if you ignore it, it will keep spreading and cause more damage. Mould not only affects your buildings structural integrity if left to its own devices, but it would also affect residents health.

Thankfully, this particular building has engaged engineers to look into this issue, and in the meantime, has asked us to clean the surface mould, nothing like hard work, and lots of bleach. The results are a night and day difference!
